Dinner für Dolly (WT)


Dinner für Dolly is a queer chamber play set in a bourgeois Swiss townhouse, where the eccentric couple Alex and Yale host their annual Dolly Parton-themed dinner with friends. But when Alex’s twin sister brings a mysterious guest from the U.S., the evening spirals into a surreal night of gossip, conflict, and revelations. As tensions unfold, a queer love triangle emerges and the house transforms into an absurd, self-made cosmos. A satirical portrait of lesbian millennial life, the film playfully unpacks queer and Swiss cultural clichés.
